Concord Sports Centre
Based in Shiregreen, Concord Sports Centre has benefited from a £1.3 million refurbishment project, comprising of a state of the art spacious split level fitness suite, a fully air conditioned dance studio, a designated spinning area and improved changing facilities.
As a member of Fitness Unlimited, you also have access to the Escape Health Suite, facilities include a Sauna, Steam Room, Sunbeds*, relaxation area and beauty treatments*.

Gym
Concord Sports Centre has a Gym with a wide range of cardio vascular machines, strength machines and 'spinning' bikes. Trained staff are on hand to offer personal training programmes, offer advice on nutrition and are there to make sure you achieve your fitness goal!
Venture up the spiral staircase to the upper mezzanine level of the Fitness Suite where a continuation of fitness equipment is available.
Situated on the upper level of the Fitness Suite is a 'spinning' bikes area. Using stationary spinning bikes, this provides an excellent cardio vascular workout, which is low impact and great for increasing fitness levels. These are group sessions led by qualified instructors, who help to keep you motivated through out the class. |

Swimming
Fitness sessions for the serious swimmer with roped off lanes. During Lane Swim sessions, the teaching pool will be open for public swimming or our Public Swimming timetable gives everyone the opportunity to take to the pool for fitness, fun or relaxation. |

GP Referral Scheme
Award Winning GP Referral Scheme at Concord Sports Centre.
The GP referral scheme has been running at Concord since 2005 with over 250 patients enrolling. The scheme focuses on patient’s conditions and training goals, with fantastic results after just 12 weeks; average weight loss at 4.5kg and 40% of patients returning to work after long term sickness.
